Welcome to Christmas at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre!

This year we’ve got two festive treats for children and families – The Adventures of Robin Hood & Maid Marian: Winter in Sherwood and The Winter Whale.

Winter in Sherwood is a classic swashbuckling adventure based on the Robin Hood myth set at the time of the Battle of Lincoln in 1217.  Robin has gone missing and only Maid Marian can pull together the Merry Men to search for Robin and defend the castle from the treacherous Sheriff of Nottingham.  This magical journey to the Greene Wood is the perfect winter warmer suitable for ages six up and their families, and isperformed by the graduating drama students of University of Lincoln, with audiences surrounding the action to give the show a more immersive feel.

The Winter Whale is our studio show for younger audiences aged three plus. Following the success of last year’s sell-out production of Brrr! The Lost Polar Bear we’re joining the adventurous Anya and her best friend Karl as they go in search for the Winter Whale. Due to demand we’re extending the production right up until New Year’s Eve, so you’ll have even more of an opportunity to share in the festive fun this Christmas.

We hope you can join us
