Against The Grain Slam – Poetry, amplified! Lincoln’s most raucous night of rhymes – 12 poets, 2 rounds, 3 minutes… What is a Slam I hear you cry! Performers get 3 minutes in each of the two rounds to perform a poem, the audience scores each performance out of ten and the winning slammer walks away with £35 and bragging rights, with 2nd place receiving £15 and still a fair amount of bragging rights.
