Once Upon a time, in a far off Kingdom, a bargain is struck and a young girl is taken from her parents. Locked away from the world “to keep her safe”, the young Rapunzel grows up dreaming of adventures and life outside of her lonely room at the top of a tall tower. And as she grows up, her hair grows longer and longer and longer. Adapted from the original fairy tale, this magical musical play explores how the power of love can both blind us and help us see. And it’s also about the hair, that ridiculously long hair… From the creative team behind last year’s enchanting Robin Hood & Maid Marian and performed by University of Lincoln’s graduating drama students, this is the ideal festive treat for the whole family. Relaxed performances are created to be a more relaxed presentation of a show, with adapted sound and lighting and minor script adjustments, plus increased wheelchair capacity. We also offer a chill out zone in one of our studios so you can take a break from the action too! People with a learning or physical disability, autistic spectrum condition, or sensory or communication disorder are especially welcome. Tickets: £10
