Young people aged 11 – 18 will work with professionals to stage the classic horror Frankenstein. This 2 week process gives young people the opportunity not only to be in the production, but also to design and make the costumes, set and props under the guidance of a professional designer. Participants can be involved in both the performance and design elements of the production, with the option to major in one area, or elect to take part in one area only. There will also be an opportunity for a budding young director to apply to take on the role of assistant director. Shorter placements are also available for 2 young technicians and 2 stage managers to join the process once we move into technical rehearsals. The production will be performed on the main stage at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 8 August, with a preshow exhibition of participants’ design portfolios front of house in Zing Café Bar. Fees Young Performer, Designer Assistant Director £185 Young Stage Manager £50 (Mon 17 – Sat 22 August) Young Technician £25 (Thur 20 – Sat 22 August) Add our Lunch package £35 packed lunch provided!
