Two Acts, Two Courses presents: New Writing, New Ideas.

This show has ended.

Two Acts, Two Courses is back and this time we’re championing new writing. Two up-and-coming playwrights, Chloe Frampton and Jacob Kay will be presenting their new work for you. Please come and support these emerging talents and help us promote new artistic work in the city of Lincoln.

The Acts:
‘Cattle,’ by Jacob Kay: Mona’s job isn’t glamorous. In fact it’s boring. Mind-numbingly boring. Her duties are just general housekeeping, along with the odd message she receives from the mail chute. The only thing she can do is make sure the cages are clean, and that the people house within are seen to… To Mona, this is standard. That is until the people begin to act strangely. Is her job as boring as she first thought?

‘Lilac Line,’ by Chloe Frampton: Aubrey and Maggie have spent almost a lifetime travelling together on the same exact route. It’s where they’ve laughed, where they’ve cried, where their lives have grown and where the majority of their conversations have begun and then restarted the very next day. As their lives move in different directions, asking them to take on a whole new journey…what will be left of their friendship and what will be lost?

The Courses:

Main 1: Stuffed chicken breast wrapped in parma ham with a white wine and cream sauce, served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables
