Cakes & Ale present their next “Two Acts, Two Courses,” guest director Kieran Spiers invites you to join us for an evening of thoughtful drama, delicious food and comedic fun. As always you, the audience, will enjoy two one-act plays and a delicious two course meal provided by Stokes.

The Courses:

Mains Options:

A. Sausage and Mash with Onion Gravy.

B. Oven Baked Salmon with Asian spiced noodles. (Vegetarian/Vegan options available for both)

Desserts Options:

1. Pumpkin and Cinnamon Tart with Creme Anglais.

2. Chocolate Stack with sorbet. (Vegetarian/Vegan options available.)

Coffee and Tea served after.

The Acts:

Act 1. 12 Hour Life by Robert Scott: In this one-act drama, Dylan should be going to a conference, but a chance encounter with Samantha and some forthright discussion, finds him playing truant and having the time of his life. Is it possible to live a life in one day?

Act 2. It’s What he Would have Wanted by Stephen Gillard: A one-act comedy. Planning a funeral is a stressful time. When the ghost of the person who’s funeral it is, has some very definite ideas about how that funeral should take place, stressful doesn’t really cover it.

Ticket Collection: Up to 10 days before the event you can select your tickets to be posted for £1. You can collect your tickets at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (Brayford Pool Campus, LN6 7TS) up to the day before the event or you can collect your tickets on the night on door at The Blue Room.
