Thu 6th Feb - Thu 6th Feb
Folklore historian and folk musician Danny Pedler and two time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner Greg Russell (Shake the Chains, The Transports, Ciaran Algar) present a project combining traditional music with the sounds of industry.
With projected videos of Lincolnshire’s factories, sounds of the machines, voices of Lincolnshire’s people as well as a hurdy gurdy, an accordion, a guitar and song, Danny and Greg will create a multisensory concert experience.
Innovative music making techniques create songs that explore folk music as a vehicle to communicate the feeling behind the social and cultural themes present in 21st century Britain – a time of immense social change.
