A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM at The Blue Room

Sat 29th May - Sat 5th Jun

A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare: “The course of true love never did run smooth.” Truer words were never spoken. Mixed up love potions, mischievous fairies and some of the worst actors the stage has ever seen (not the cast, they’re great…honest), what could possibly go wrong? Join Oberon, Titania, Puck and… yes… Bottom, as out-door theatre makes it’s stunning return to The Lawn. Bring a picnic, order Strawberries and Cream and enjoy the grounds of The Lawn before we transport you into Shakespeare’s magical world of summer fun. Theatre’s back, come and join us.

Weather: Well, it’s Britain, obviously, so we know there’s always a possibility of interesting weather, even in the summer months. However, the show must go on, so barring any dangerous levels of bad weather, we will be performing every afternoon and every evening. After everything that’s happened in the last year, what’s a bit of drizzle amongst friends eh?
