About Us

Lincoln Arts Centre is the University of Lincoln’s public arts centre with a focus on talent development, innovation and research. A home for new contemporary performance, the next generation of artists and new artistic ideas.

Our values

We're putting the future first! In 2022, we launched the research and consultation project Lincoln's Future Arts Centre. Over 200 people weighed in and the learnings we gathered helped us to build our mission, vision, values and ethos, which is outlined on this page.

Critical Friends

To help us on our transformation journey we have enlisted the support of Critical Friends, a group volunteers who are a key part of the organisation. They help us to make sure that we are producing, programming, and facilitating in line with our artistic policy and values.

The Future Arts Centre

The Future Arts Centre is a research project and consultation where we open our doors and invite conversations about our mission and vision. The first phase took place in October – December 2022. We hosted a series of workshops, online conversations, and a survey to discuss with our community where we want to go across four thematic pillars: Perception, Programme, People and Place.

University courses

Lincoln Arts Centre is the home of the University of Lincoln’s School of Creative Arts and plays host to the daily lives and early careers of hundreds of its students every year. Here, you can learn more about the various programmes of study that make up the LSCA and how they are cultivating the next generation of artists and creative thinkers.
