Summer Schools 2018: Creative Futures

Are you creative, an aspiring designer, architect or a budding performer or dancer? Thinking about a future in the creative and cultural industries and how higher education might make this possible? This July, 2018 the University of Lincoln are offering 3 summer schools for you to choose from. Through a series of hands on activities and workshops you will explore what it is like to study creative subjects at University. Each 5-day summer school will run from 9:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday and is targeted at students in year 11, 12, 13 or equivalent. Architecture and Design: Creative Futures // Monday 16th – Friday 20th July The purpose of this summer school is to inspire students to value and develop their creative talents and the potential to progress through higher education courses into careers and vocations in the creative industries. The week will be broken down into a series of hands-on taster workshops based round various design disciplines of product design, architecture, communications design, interior design and digital heritage.
