Fresh off the announcement of their Routes In Roles, Lincoln Arts Centre continues to make strides in artist development and support. Announcing its largest direct investment into artists and Lincoln-made creative projects in the organisation’s history.

Lincoln Arts Centre introduces two brand new job roles as part of innovative scheme to develop people's skills and kick start their career in the creative industry.

We’re proud to announce that from September 2023 – September 2026 we will be an official partner of the region-wide artist development programme In Good Company; an organisation that shares our focus and drive in artist development.

Looking to develop your understanding in creating work for children and families?  Want the time and space to develop your artistic process and producing ability?  Want the time and space to test an idea for a new live performance?

We’ve only just began to recover after a crazy weekend at Lincoln Arts Centre that was jam-packed with arts, crafts, workshops, talks, performances & participation. We can’t believe how many lovely faces we saw walk through our doors! It was truly a weekend to remember, so let’s look back at all the wonderful stuff we got up to.

Since 2022 we have been on a mission to co-design and re-shape Lincoln Arts Centre’s mission and vision with our various communities and stakeholders that interact with our work. We’ve committed to a radically transparent and open process from the very beginning. This took the form of a major public consultation project, entitled The Future Arts Centre; where over 250 people took part in public workshops, online conversations and surveys.  To help us continue our transformation journey we have enlisted the support of Critical Friends, a group volunteers who applied via a public call-out. We’re delighted to share the first of our new volunteers with you. 

A new exhibition presenting works by MA Fine Art students, drawing on original objects and artworks from the Lincoln Museum’s collection.

We invited local reviewer, Jack Davey to our very first Demo night. We're so happy the event was a success, and we look forward to many more Demo nights!
